"Alien planet" Landscapes

First Assignment: "Alien Vista with a piece of technology/architecture", for Cecil Kim's Viscom 6 class! Here are the thumbnails. They feel very expected... I need to get more confident with environments so I can stop making things that all look exactly the same.

I think we all go through phases where we lack confidence...But I have to say, everything you do still blows me away!

They look awesome but i've noticed they are all very very dark in the foreground and light in the background, its a little tricker to do but you can go light dark light instead to create depth.

I think everyone at Art Center paints "spikey rocks" (as James Paick would call them) when they first try this technique. Its just a phase you have to get through. :)

Justin...

My name is Trevor and I'm a producer in Baltimore looking for concept art for a project I'm working on. I found your work on conceptartworld.com and I was very impressed. It's a paying gig and I would love for you to work on it. Would probably need 5-6 pieces for the movie. It's a pretty original idea that I think you could have some fun with.

Let me know what you think and if you're available.

thanks.
