The assignment is to take a photo with the specific assigned material, then apply that material to a drawing
of your own design. No 3d underlay, no fancy tricks- just reference and physics. Learned so much with this it's insane, even though it's still riddled with inaccuracies and is fairly rough, the process creates results super fast. For a more detailed one, check out Danny Gardner in the sidebar ->

Been on a Kurosawa binge lately... Seven Samurai, Yojimbo, Kagemusha... deliciously inspiring. Was very fun to do this piece!
